You can not stop anyone to file any case but you have the right to contest the same. If you are still working in the company how can they issue a relieving letter to you?. Do you have any copy of that letter? Who has issued it on what authority? There are several question in your favour and you can proceed. Make up your mind first what you want to do. We can file a case against the company as well, but for that a brief discussion is essential. Think properly. Best of luck

If you did so then a F.I.R under section 420/468/471 may be registered against you and this is a non bailable offence. So firstly you have to apply for anticipatory bail so that you can save yourself from arrest. Rest thing will be tell you after heraing your complete problem.

If they are able to prove that you have fraudulently prepared the relieving order then its a serious offence and you may be punishable for fraud and breach of trust etc., But based on the circumstances you may defend it by saying that they issued the relieving order and for that you may need to bring in new facts and circumstances. So its better to approach them and settle the issue amicably.
