Forcefully Occupying Vacant Land And Threatening To Kill

My neighbors was trying to bury underground water pipe through/under my vacant property. On objecting, they along with all their family members (40+) became offensive and ruined our bricks stacked in our vacant plot and beaten my brother. They even entered or house premises and physically assaulted my mother along with abusive language and threatened to abuse and kill our family members. They also threatened us of dire consequences if we approach local police station. They are a big family with political backing and nexus with anti social persons. We have lodged a written compliant in local police station. How to approach further. Thanks.
