Flatmate not returning my deposit money and harrassed threatened me

My flat mate was supposed to give the deposit money which she owed me, she only returned partial amount to me after 3 months and upon asking for the remaining money, she started fighting and harrassing me on a daily basis. She yells and threatened to slap me and questioned on my upbringing too and in turn acts like a victim herself, a narcissist personality. She also stole few of my things and not even paying for the shared things like wifi. Her mother is also here since last few days
Well, whatever money she is not giving you back, regards that, you can file a Civil Suit in Court. You can also try to lodge a Police Complaint and get that Complaint converted into a FIR under the concerned provisions of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

You can lodge an First Information Report (FIR) at your nearest police station also you can also file a complaint for theft under Section 378 of IPC, Civil Suit for recovery of money can also be filed.
