What does uncontested settled out of court mean?
A settlement outside of court occurs when two parties agree on a claim, without a judge deciding the case. In general, an out of court settlement involves one party paying a certain amount to the other in exchange for the closing of the lawsuit. 20-Jan-2017
What is meant by uncontested allowed in court?
DISMISSED means that the case has been settled. Uncontested means that CASE IS NOT CONTESTED by the opposing party. The Judge dismisses a case because the plaintiff failed to appear at the hearing.
Can uncontested dismissed case be reopened?
The appellant may reopen a case if he/she can show that he/she is unable to handle the case. The petitioner can state the proper reason in section 5. You can now do something, you can send a legal notice to the appellant about dismissal of the lawsuit same and state that you are prepared to contest the case.
