first right an application for FIR closure stating every facts in the case. and request closure of the FIR. they will verify it and then it will be closed after they verified the statement you have written in the Application.

Aapka matter simple hai. Jab aapka mobile mil gaya hai, to aap police station me jaakar apna supplementary statement de sakte hain aur FIR ko close/cancel karne ke liye request kar sakte hain. Is process ko generally “untraced/false report closure” ya “cancellation report” ke through band kiya jata hai, jo court me submit hota hai. Aap Dabri Police Station me jaakar IO (Investigating Officer) se milen, unhe bataayein ki phone recover ho chuka hai aur aap case pursue nahi karna chahte. Aapka statement likha jayega aur uske baad police apni report court me file karegi. Senior advocate ka saath hona optional hai, lekin agar aapko proper legal guidance chahiye ya process smooth rakhna hai, to advocate saath le jana better rahega. Isme koi criminal liability aap par nahi aati jab tak aapne jhoothi FIR jaan-bujhkar nahi karayi ho.
