Fir Filled And No Response From Police Station

We had filled an FIR against a person 20days back. But police has not given any response yet . And the acussed person has been absconded. So what can be done

File a Private complaint before the competent Judicial Magistrate of your jurisdiction. The court will initiate take necessary actions against the accused and give appropriate instructions to police also.

Hi, Under what offence FIR was registered, in which police station, whether you know were the accused person. Whether you following the police. We have to continuously following the police to secure the accused

if not get proper response from the police station hence we can approach the concerned dist supredendent of police for further action of Fir u/s. 154 of crpc to arrest the accused and other reliefs like speed up for filing charge sheet
