Financial fruad by an admission consultancy

15-Jun-2025 (In Criminal Law)
I was cheated by an education consultancy named Sabr Education, operated by Mr. Mehran Reshi, in connection with my admission to Rayat Bahra University. In August 2023, I paid Rs. 60,000 in cash to the consultancy, based on their promise to submit my university fees and complete the admission process on my behalf. Although they issued a receipt claiming the payment had been made to the university, I later verified with the university authorities and was informed that no such payment was received

Sir, you paid in cash, and as far as I know, you don’t have any evidence of that payment — such as a cheque, receipt, or any written acknowledgment. However, you can consult a lawyer and consider sending a legal notice to the other party.
