Sir I am army personnel and my wife filled Dv case against me and asking for maintenance.then she filled complaint against me in army for maintainance and again she filled crpc sec 125 against me.now the civil court grant maintainance partialy to her and I want to stop maintenance case in army

She has the legal right to file a petition under the Domestic Violence Act and Section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). However, she cannot receive double maintenance for the same purpose from both proceedings. If cases are filed in both forums, the court will ensure that the relief is properly balanced and adjusted to avoid duplication. You can also inform your Commanding Officer (CO) about the maintenance order passed by the civil court.

Q: Domestic abuse related caused by in laws and husband

I live with my husband and kids seperately at in laws house. I have been continuously abused mentally by my mother in law her elder son.. and partly by my husband.They have a maid whom she wants to marry my husband.they are not saying this but they are planning this..I raised the issue but nothing happened instead they beat my father and me. You can take legal action under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 if you are facing any form of domestic abuse whether physical, emotional, verbal, or economic.First, you may file a petition under the DV Act before the Magistrate through a Protection Officer or directly with the help of a lawyer.

I am in love with a girl for 3 years but now she is engaged but I was not happy and neither is that girl happy, we still talk to each other day and night.But today I called the boy with whom she was engaged and told him that I am in a relationship with this person, I will marry her. if you are hindu and as the girl and you both are major 18 and 21 years and if the girl is ready and its free consent you file petirion before the High Court concerned and the Hon'ble High Court give protection but before that you both have to execute an marriage agreement and do marriage in Mandir and get certificte from Arya Samaj andbif you both are Muslim perforam Nikha and get Nikhmanama form the Qazi and then file petition before cincerned High court of meet somelocal lawyer of your area.. if you from Jammu you can contact me also..

I was cheated by an education consultancy named Sabr Education, operated by Mr. Mehran Reshi, in connection with my admission to Rayat Bahra University. In August 2023, I paid Rs. 60,000 in cash to the consultancy, based on their promise to submit my university fees and complete the admission process on my behalf.Although they issued a receipt claiming the payment had been made to the university, I later verified with the university authorities and was informed that no such payment was received

Sir, you paid in cash, and as far as I know, you don’t have any evidence of that payment — such as a cheque, receipt, or any written acknowledgment. However, you can consult a lawyer and consider sending a legal notice to the other party.

Q: I got mental toure by my wife as she abuses me and my family

My wife has make my life hell by abusing me and my daughter my parents .but after talking with her parents like brother, sister,and mom they never understood my concern she is getting dangerous for my and my parents and 12 year daughter her parents now withdraw their hand from this issue and telling me we have no responsibility now handle by your own.But seeing her behaviour I am very worried if something mistrod happen can you please suggest me what to do

Sir,if she is a criminal mind and does some criminal act then you can file a complaint before the concerned police station and if she is harassing you and your parents and as you say abusing you can file divorce petition or meet some lawyer but you not tell you are muslim or Hindu if you are muslim then you can give talak by your own by producing divorce in 3 months but if you are hindu you can file divorce petition on the ground of cruelty ground or meet some lawyer.
