Filing Defamation case after the submission of FR in Court

Police has submitted the FR in the court, after investigation of false FIR against me by my wife. Can I now file the Defamation case against her or I will have to wail till the court accepts the FR.

yes, you can file defamation case both civil and criminal. let the court to accept the FR and thereafter file defamation. court can reject FR and can ask for reexamination. after acceptance of FR the document shall become public.
