Filed cheque bounce case that person filed false criminal case

I have helped my friend with sum of 250000 rs against post dated cheques. Cheques we're dishonoured and I filed 138 case against him . Last week he has called the police helpline that I have assaulted hum. He has no injury at all . He knew my location at that time . Police has called me and I have given my statement .plz suggest me for legal action against this false complaint and advise how can I protect myself against future false complaints he can file against me
