Feud with client resulting in my defamation

Some time ago, i had a feud with one of my clients. He started defaming me without my knowledge while the deal was ongoing and later proceeded to intentionally sabotage my client base and force police action upon me by claiming false things and threat of suicide. He even mentioned in one of the comments of fb post that he did all this because he could. He knowingly on purpose posted about this in the two most active communities without tagging me, but mentioning my profile so that i wouldn't know about it and when i did, it was too late. My lawyer said that its only a case of weak social defamation, but i want to get that SOB for as much as possible. Please tell all related charges that can be brought upon him if i went further into details.

You can approach the Civil as well as the Criminal Court for an action of defamation against your Client. Before the the Civil Court it will be a suit for damages and injunction and before the Criminal Court it will be a private complaint. Approach a good lawyer who can meticulously draft the suit as well as the complaint for you .

You need to change your lawyer as he is not advising you properly and fully on all the various legal options available for you to take action against the guilty person who is causing you so much of pain and insult and humiliation.
