26-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I worked at reliance jio for 5months & i left the job on 15th june'17 After few days i came to know that they filed a fraud case against me of rs.450000 Till date i have not surrender to police. How should I protect myself?
First of all you need to ascertain whether the FIR has been registered or not
Thereafter if the FIR is registered than we need to take an anticipatory bail
This needs to be done urgently and without any further delay

First u should know whether the case was registered, if so, know about the story of allegation and speak clearly to your advocate about the facts and can prefer a pre-arrest bail. And if the case is under the police enquiry u should cooperate with the police about the facts before it get registered .
You shall have to surrender in court go to jail and your lawyer will apply for bail or now go for an anticipatory bail. The rest of case depends on evidence, if proved you go to jail again this time for long period, if evidence is weak you go home.
