If the FIR is false and filed with mala fide intent, you have strong legal remedies. First, apply for anticipatory bail for all family members, especially senior citizens and persons with medical conditions. You can file a petition before the High Court under Section 482 CrPC / Section 528 BNSS for quashing of the FIR by showing abuse of process and lack of prima facie material. If police are threatening you to withdraw civil cases, it amounts to criminal intimidation and abuse of power. You may give a written complaint to the Superintendent of Police under Section 154(3) CrPC and, if ignored, approach the Jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 156(3) CrPC. A writ petition under Article 226 can also be filed seeking protection from coercive action. Courts take serious note when senior citizens are falsely implicated.

If FIR is registered against you or your family members seek for Anticipatory Bail and then file for Quashing of FIR, if more than one FIR is registered or police threatening that many FIR will be registered then you can file Writ petition. feel free to contact for any legal advice.
