False case under 313 filed, scope of filing of defamation under 499

Helllo sir, Sir my wife file a false case(ipc 313, 498a, 506) against me & my family(Mummy, Papa), But in FIR only 313 describe, one day police came my home and arrest me and papa. During investigation ipc 313 cancel. But we grant bail after 32 days. now case pending in ipc 498a, 506(which is not mention in FIR) only on the basis of 161 BAYAN. So, Can i file a defamation case against her on the basis of cancel 313.

Sir, you may file a case of false information to police but sir for defamation it will be difficult to prove it at this stage and it is advisable to wait for the moment of the acquittal from the present case at it is premature to file the suit for defamation at this time.
