Hi Sir, I'm a software professional working since last 8 years in bangalore. My father had some business in hometown and he lost everything and had debt of 1 crore rupees. He can't repay it. Debtors has filed both civil suit and criminal case under 420. Here I was never involved in business and staying away from family but they involved my name in 420 as A2. Currently I got bail and charge sheet was yet to be filed. Applied for quashing waiting for hearing. Can my father file IP to avoid 420?
hi yes he could file for IP but need to attach all the assets he has having and other things and he could also for quash as Section 420 wont be attracted as the matters are civil in nature anf that there is no criminal liability in it
