False allegations of staring upper parts of a lady in the society

Hi, One lady of our building started sending messages to me on WhatsApp that I am staring her chest while passing her in left and lobby without any evidence .s We have cc tv cameras everywhere in the society .she said her two friend will give the statement in her favour but didn’t tell their names. She threatened me to file case under 354A. I went to police station and hardly able to do NC against her . What I need to do further.

I have earlier replied to a similar question put by you. However, I will answer again. You can approach civil court for restraining order against the lady and filed civil as well as criminal case for defamation and mental harassment against the lady.

Firstly, collect and preserve all Whatsapp messages or any other communication where the lady has made these allegations against you. Take screenshots and create a record. Secondly, since your society has CCTV cameras, immediately request for the CCTV footage of the dates and times she has alleged this incident. Thirdly, never try to interact with the lady as she may record something which you might not be able to know. Fourthly, go consult an advocate and go with the advocate to the police station to file a written complaint or non cognizable report against the lady for criminal intimidation and threat. Attach all the chats and relevant CCTV footage.
