Expiry Date Tampering on Food Product

I have received a food product that is having tampered expiry date on it. The order was placed on food delivery app and there is no proper response from them.
hi if the received product is having expired from the company then you could send legal notice to the company asking for refund and replacement of product and could file case in consumer forum seeking compensation
