Drunk and Drive Challan will it affect the Govt Job in Karnataka?

my friend was caught drunk and drive and he has been fined with 10000 rupees, and the case is closed now, will it affect the Govt job in Karnataka
Dear Sir,
Normally, it being a petty case as such it does not effect the career of such convict. However, for the sake of well being and to avoid future hurdles, immediately a criminal petition may be filed before the High Court and get such case quashed saying that by misrepresentation you made to admit the guilt and accordingly fine was imposed.
