Drunk and drive by driver car impounded

Hello Sir/Madam, I am from Hyderabad, We had a water tanker driver who was driving our car under the influence of the alcohol which we are unaware of, my father was traveling in the car along with the driver. At a police checkpoint at the outer ring road Hyderabad, They were stopped for a police checkup. Police breathalyzer detected alcohol content in the test, They have impounded the car, Driver didn't had license at the moment, All this happened at 19/02/2020. A court hearing was given to the driver on 19/03/2020 after producing license at the police station along with his wife(my father had paid 10k to get driver's license because he kept it for loan). Now driver is threatening us that he will not court hearing so that we will not get our car forever, he works as a tanker driver and he leaves the tanker while doing the job and threatening us i am going do whatever you want. He is still consuming alcohol and not working. I would like to know how do we get the car?
