Drinking beer on road , Police caught me take my adhaar card photo

I was drinking beer on road side , police officer came and ask for my aadhar card , I provided it . After that they ask for my present address, and contact address. And let me go . Do they file a case ?
They may or may not file a case. However since they have taken your details in writing there is a high chance of a silent case. Try to check whether any case or fine is pending against you through the concerned officials or else engage an advocate to help you out.

Yes in future the police official can send you challan for the offence of drinking at public place. because drinking at public place is offence so prepare if the police will send copy of challan at your what's app no then fill that challan in the court where the challan will be disposed off. Thanks
