Documents required to prove innocence in money embezzlement matter

12-Feb-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My husband was forced to sign a document stating that he has embezzled money. The document was signed by the employer and their legal consultant. Can he file an affidavit refuting those allegations in the earlier document and state that he was forced to sugn? What kind of documents can be provided in money embezzlement cases to prove his innocence?

You can rely on your statement and undue influence has been made on your husband. It is the prosecution who has the burden of proof to prove it guilty. Since your husband has signed in the documents by the employer's undue influence means burden of proof falls on your husband.however you can take the above said stand and also never admit anything to anyone or discuss the matter with police or without having an attorney involved.
