Disposal of case due to non filing of chargesheet for 3 years

Someone from my college filed FIR against me in march 2018 under ipc324,148.i left going to court hraring & police didn't call us about filing of chargesheet.is there any chance case might've been disposed?we were college students we left kolkata & so did the complainant.can police still file chargesheet??

Its quite interesting that you have reached such a situation at the first place itself. Anyway there are several ways to find out the case details and other stuff. But for that I need the details and then only I can help.

it would have been better if you have provided the case details and the court in which you were attending the hearing. in case a closure report has been filed by the police then the case can be taken as disposed off. but filing of chargesheet is independent of whether you are physically present in Kolkata or not. kindly get the case status checked.

dear client, I can answer all your queries if you provide me with the details of the FIR... after that I'll be able to tell you at which stage the trial is going on... one more thing you need to understand is that FIR even after many years stand at the same place unless quashed with the permission of high court...
