Sec 302 is for murdering a person and sec 308 is for culpable homicide. In second one if by your act on certain provocation a person dies then you will be tried for 308 which is for 3 years or 7 years jail imprisonment. And for 302 is life imprisonment or death sentence

Sec 320 is for grievous hurt of a part of body due to your act. You have to study the medical documents of the deceased person and if the injuries are not as per serious under section 320 u can prove that this case wnt come under 320 it is a simple injury.
