If you have light motor vehicle (LMV) license, that itself is sufficient. You can drive both yellow and white board cars. There is no any separate yellow board licence. But car should have the packaged Insurance policy which covers inmates of the car also. And you will not be held guilty of accidental death case, only if you don't have negligence on your part.

You will be acquitted if we prove that the accident was caused due to the negligence of the opposite vehicle. It also depends whether police has registered FIR against you or against offending vehicles. I need to see the copy of FIR and mahazar to come to a conclusion.
