Cruelty to my 2 years old daughter by my wife

Me and my wife has adopted one daughter from some known in the year 2017. We did one agreement with them through lawyer and get the notary done. One year ago, we came to know that our daughter is neither speaking and nor listening properly. Since then my wife is not giving much attention to our child. In the last one year, around four to five times, she left our home and daughter, living somewhere else without saying anything to us. In this situation, we have faced extremely difficulty to take care of our daughter. My wife is working with media organization on contract basis. She used to threaten us if we take action in this regard, she will misuse her position/ laws in favour of ladies and put me and my parent behind the bars. She is habitual in creating dramas and calling POLICE time to time. I am living with my aged parents. They are Senior Citizens. Pls help us. What should we do in this situation

Make a complaint to police about the same. If they fails to take any action, you can file a complaint against your wife under domestic violence act and seek protection order for your daughter. Court will hear you both and then will decide the matter.
