Criminal suit filed against a POA holder which is having legal POA

13-Nov-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Dear Sir, I have a legal POA for a property to make care & having power to sold that property. I sold that property by using POA as per instruction of Owner of property. Purchaser make the dakhil kharij of that land. And after 5 years some part of that land taken by national highway authorities & give compensation amount to purchaser of that land. Now a third party suit a civil & criminal case against myself, purchaser & witness of that sale deed & claiming that I have sold his property. I want to know that myself which is having a legal POA & owner of said property are saying that he haa given POA to me to sold the property. Is liable to face any criminal case. However I have done the sale deed in capacity of a valid legal agent. I was not owner of that property & not get any financial profit from that land.
