Criminal case pending will it be a hinderance in getting civil job

I am working in armed force. I have a criminal case against me. I have not informed here regarding my case. Due to my service condition, I am unable to attend the hearing.... I want to know that should I have inform my service about it. Second, will this case affect me in getting a civil govt job after completion of my service in armed force?

without knowing what type of criminal case whether compoundable or not , a specific relief is impossible to be given. It may effect you for civil jobs with respect to the type of offence. If it is a compoundable offence it will not effect your career
