Criminal case by FSO become an obstacle for government job

13-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I have a case pending for "unsafe food without any injury" under section 26,42,59 . I have searched act and it says a fine of upto rs 100000 and upto 6 months jail if found guilty. Does it can become an obstacle in my govt. Job?????

For getting a government job you should be free of any sort of criminal charge at the time of application or appointment...

Even if you are fined that also amounts to conviction and it's a hurdle for job...

Hello Sir

Dont think that you will be found guilty there are many angles of the case. We need to study your case first before proceeding further. Yes if you found guilty and imprisoned it may create prob for yourjob

yOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED IF YOU ARE SEEKING JOB OR YOU ARE ALREADY ON JOB.
USUALLY THE OFFENCE OF MORAL TURPITUDE ARE CONSIDERED BARRING FOR GOVT JOB .
BUT IF YOU ARE HELD GUILTY THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO DISCLOSE THE SAME TO THE DEPARTMENT WHERE YOU JOB IS. IF YOU ARE ON JOB SERVICE RULES WILL APPLY.
