Crime under influence charged for sec 420 what punishment can b given

If someone commits a crime under influence or compelling situation and gets caught and charged with section 420, will he/she get imprisonment as punishment?

whoever cheats or dishonestly induces a person deceived or deliver any property to any person or to make or alter or destroy the whole or any part of the valuable security shal be liable to punishment fir 7yrs with fine. non -bailable.

Though section 420 ipc is a cognizable offence and is compoundable in nature and shall be triable by magistrate first class. Whoever cheats by personation shall be punished for a term which may extend to seven years.
