Crime period change in a complaint filed

I complaint an fir for theft and in that complain one fix date was mentioned but the theft period was a span of 2 /3 month but i mentioned the date on which I know about theft can i change the period in that fir

hello sir according to your query your FIR was lost in cctn portal after lotterys the FIR you cannot change the date but according to your 161 statement you can return down the statement key I have lost the FIR in which date but the date is I don't remember in that time but right now you know that the date to you can tell me the statement 161 crpc
