What if a police arrest us by considering as cognisable offence (by taking money by opposition or by infuluence of opposition) even we dont do any mistake ?
Cognizable offence means, the policecan arrest a wrongdoer on a reliable complaint after proper enquiry,if U have proper proof for misconduct of police personnel U may complaint the higher authorities with proof,and file a petition for quash of proceedings against U in Honourable high court

If an FIR is registered against you and you are arrested by police for a cognizable offence, secure bail and wait for the police to submit charge sheet in the concerned magistrate court and thereafter appear in the court during the trial and fight the case on merits. Also you have a chance of quashing the charge sheet from the high court as you say a false case is registered against you. In addition to this, you may also pray for discharge in the trial court before charges are framed so that the court may discharge you and set you free from all the charges.
