Client related issues with my old firm

Respected Sir/Madam, i used to work in a CA firm who roughly have 3000-4000 clients. Then after I resigned from there and started my own consultation firm and contacted only 250-300 of their clients. There after my consultation started doing business with the clients whom I approached. Now they found this out and threatening me that they’ll file a case and all. What should I do?
you have to approach us if a case is filed against you. In all probability they may go for both civil & criminal case. though there is no immunity against criminal except defending it. whereas in civil case we can file a petition i.e. caveat to ensure that no order is made against you unless you are given prior hearing. consult for further advise and defense steps.
