Clarification regarding status of criminal complaint for MACT

actually what happens is when I was 17 I did one accident police took my identy proof and u have to pay victim for hospital expenses and my family paid and police took my identy proof and I don't know they filed FIR or not and they told we will call u but they never called me again but now I want to know that still there is my criminal record or not.

If you paid the amount upon receipt you have to check with the court where that police station attached. if any FIR is filed against you it will be in Court. if there is no FIR filed upon you in Court there is no case against you.

You have to check with the police or the concerned court if the case is pending against you. I don't think the case can be pending against you as you have paid the money to the victim and compromised with him. However, to make sure, ask the police to show the status of the case to you.
