Cheating by not keeping her promise to marry me

Can i sue a female who promised me that she will marry me but now she broke up for no reason. I tried to retain but couldn't succeed. On my part, i have not cheated on her and i can prove it. Can i sue her for breaking trust, promise or statements made? I have proof. She belongs to Jain community and i belong to Muslim community.

If you have strong evidence then you can proceed. In India nobody can be spared if such nonsense things are done without any cause and reason. Irrespective of gender, nobody can allowed to play with sentiments of other person. You can get issue a legal notice and proceed to claim huge compensation for mental trauma and social respect which you have lost.
