Cheated by selling total loss vehicle

12-Sep-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A guy cheated me by selling a total loss vehicle saying that it hasn't met with any accident, no insurance claim has been done. And he also provided the free service coupon that comes with the vehicle. But once after purchasing and going to the service center, we found that the vehicle is a totalled one. It was completely damaged and he got full amount settled by the insurance company. I don't know how this guy sold me. The RC is in the name of the original owner. What should I do now?

Good morning As per your message it would not possible to sell total damage vehicle after getting insurance claimed amount from insurance company However the insurance company would ask to surrender vehicle and rc book before giving total damage claim to the vehicle owner If you are finding any mischief by the seller you can take legal action against the seller If you want further assistance please call me for consultation
