Cheated by a person on the name of management quota for admission

Is taking admission through management quota legal. I have been cheated by a person in name of management quota admission in engineering. I had given him 25% online transfer & 75% cash.can I go legally with him to get back my money

Yes you can file a cheating case u/s 420 and criminal breach of trust u/s 406 and take action against him your legally bound to recover the money from him if he doesn't pay he has to face the legal consequences like jail

As per your query You might be aware that giving and taking of bribe for admission is crime, however if the college or the management has issued payment receipt for admission and has denied admission then you can approach and challenge the management denying your admission. In your case you can file a criminal complaint for cheating against the concerned person. Regards
