Paabandi nama is a preventive bond record, while a conviction slip is normally for convicted persons—if no conviction exists, it may be an error. Seek documents under Sec. 207 CrPC and move court to delete wrong entries. Raise lack of Sec. 41A notice and other lapses in trial to weaken prosecution.

Please let know under which section IO has filed charge sheet . As regards pabandinama you shall be bound not to repeat offence & maintain peace . But asking court to convict . On the basis of conviction slip you cannot be convicted. IO has to lead evidence & prove charges against you

Paabandi nama means that you have been restricted to do any such offence of voyeurism. Conviction slip means its certificate that you indeed committed the offence. Both combined means that you committed a minor offence for which police have warned you and closed the case. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

The conviction slip will mention your name and address and also the offence that you have committed and the paabandi nama is just a declaration by you that you can be prevented from committing the same offence in future. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

“Paabandi Nama” usually refers to conditions or restrictions imposed on a person (like appearing in court or staying away from a place). A “Conviction Slip” is filled only after conviction by a court — if this is already in the chargesheet, it could be an error or misuse. Since you were never arrested or formally summoned, and no proper notice was sent, you can raise this issue before the court and mention the IO’s misconduct. To strengthen your case, collect proof of your cooperation in the investigation and ask your lawyer to file an application for appropriate action against the IO for misleading reporting.
