CCTV cameras installed at Delhi Government offices whether legal

I am an office bearer in a delhi govt sector, and want to know whether my office incharge can installed a CCTV camera at before my office/room covering view of sitting and working desk. can i raise any objection. will it be breach of privacy at work place. Please suggest all relevant laws.
No you cannot raise any objection regarding this issue. Office incharge must be disclose the reasons and permission from Head of the department. HOD is competent to take decision. If you working in government department, nothing is personal during working hours.

Government offices can not be use for private work/use so how can breach your privacy rights there. I don't know your office incharge authority or power but yes government has right to install CCTV camera there if they feel required in public/nation interest.
