Caught drinking in parked car. Policeman came and took us to station

My two friends were caught drinking in a parked car. A police person came and told them they got a complaint that someone is drinking in car. Police man took them to police station and they signed a pabandnama and took photocopy of adhar cards and fhey were told to report to station tommorow or monday when asked to. What will happen now?

You need to take a copy of the complaint that has been filed against them or copy of FIR, if any filed then only I can guide you in the most accurate way. As you said they were signed to a pabandnama that means they are bound to appear before the police station. So kindly insure that they appear on Monday. If the matter is only related to drinking in a car, they will be asked to pay a fine by the Police, But if the matter is beyond that kindly connect with me.

The pabandinama if signed in the police station then the police has to produce that before the court. in case the police has not done so, the pabandinama is not applicable. the photocopy of the aadhar card is to make a case against the persons involv d and in such a case one has to keep in mind as what case has been brought forward. kindly check with the relevant police station about the case and do take a copy of the complaint filed.
