Case is pending before CAT Delhi administrative issue what to do

23-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A case is pending before CAT Delhi since 2016. Its an administrative issue. The petitioner is arguing that although Rule 14(2) of CAT Procedure Rules says that all proceedings must end within six months, this matter has gone on for over 2+ years. Apart from filing an application in the high court is there any other legal remedy available to the petitioner? can a TA be filed seeking transfer of this matter to any other court? petitioner has only 2 more years left for service in Govt....

Hi, there comes the circumstances when cases are delayed and not decided in the period as given in law books. In most of the cases, the conduct of parties becomes the main cause. However, to expedite the matter the matter, you are suggested to first approach the CAT, ask shorter dates for hearing etc.
