can we transfer IPC 498A from one District court to another

HI Sir/Madam
I have filed a divorce case in District court LB Nagar(Hyderabad) and my wife imposed IPC 498A in another District Court Medchal(Telangana) ...ow since i and my wife came to an understanding on mutual consent . My wife Advocate has asked me to transfer the 498A to the LB Nagar District Court so that we can close both the cases together so i wanted to know the procedure of transfering the IPC 498A from one court to another Please advice me

since both parties have come to a compromise, it is better to file a compromise petition at medchal court only as transfer of criminal case from medchal court to LB Nagar court is a complex process where in parties have to approach high court and transfer of files takes about 6 months. if you have constraints in going to medchal, you(husband and wife) can approach high court and file a quash(sec 482 cr.p.c) petition and get medchal proceedings dispensed.
