Can we seek justice from hometown court but cause was in other city

can we seek justice from my hometown court, if some criminal behavour happend with me in city where i went fo rjob and that city is 2550 km far from my home town city.
Initially you should lodge a first information report .The court will take cognigence of the matter where the offence was committed.later on you may apply for transfer of the case in your nearby court.

Ordinarily an offence is to be inquired into and tried by a Court within whose local jurisdiction the offence was committed which has been specifically been provided under section 177 of the CrPC. There are exceptions but I do not think from the information provided that your case will fall under the exception. For accurate information on your case, facts would be required.
