Can two complaints filed in different court be heard together?

1. Y gets stay order at High court 2 Police files B report against FIR filed by Y and issues notice to Y asking him to appear before a court other than High Court Are main case and counter case not to be heard together(in which case, as long as stay continues one cannot move FIR filed by Y too)?

If there is a case and counter case which is arising out of the same transaction or act, then it has to be tried together by the same judge with two investigating officers and two prosecutors. The evidence used in one case should not be used in another case.
