Can someone put a false case against you?

I am in Canada on a visa and have not been to India in 3 years. My x husband’s family member are giving me trouble. I want to put a case on them from Canada. We are afraid if I take any action they will put a false case against me? Is that even possible given I have not been in India from 3 years and I came to know these people only a year back that too in Canada?

You can successfully file a case in two places…first is your residence and second is where the cause of action arose,i.e. where the incident took place. Do elaborate your question regarding in what sense you are afraid of. And have you taken a legal divorce from your husband or not.

You are afraid that the people order your ex-husband might have for filed a false against you in India. If you have any apprehension that I have for your criminal cases pending against you in India you can file an RTI application in police asking that any cases registered against you or not there are other all remedies also available for that you have to contact as I have dictated the answer so there may be some possibility of another thank you

Your case is that your x husband family is threatening you to implicate in some false matter despite that you have been living in Canada for 03 years …. ! Well it depends if u have spoken to them via any electronic mode n have abused them or given any threat then they can file complaint against you here …! Red corner notice is something which police send to accused !and if you have not done such threats etc ..then I recommend you to get an apprehension complaint drafted and submit to your nearest police station and we can submit the same on your behalf here in India…
