Can MSHRC do anything about police not registering my FIR?

25-Dec-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Police initially refuses to register FIR on a complaint. Then after getting Ordering Investigation U/S 156 (3) Cr.P.C from Magistrate still the police is not taking action against the accused, in such a scenario can the Maharashtra State Human Right Commission be approached. What has happened is police has lodged the FIR under 409, 420 but is not taking action and the my lawyer says that if MSHRC is approached then I will prejudice the case. It is almost more than 6 months and already 2 lakhs has been given to the lawyer ...I am in fixed trap what to do?

in your Case you can approach the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission also. The Lawyer has to take action accordingly as he is saying not to approach the MSHRC, no prejudice will be done in the case if you approach.

Dear client, you have not described the actual case history hens it is difficult to advise.as per section 409 criminal breach of trust which is punishable by ten years.similarly section 420 for cheating, as per section 156(3) court already admitted the case, now the case is with JMFC, which will take time for stand fee paid by you is somewhat more ,but assistance can be possible after hearing the full history, please do not hesitate for contact.
