Can I Get Government Job When Case Is Pending Against Me?

My friend eloped with his girlfriend and at that time I was with him . The parent of the the girl filed kidnapping case against us . We took anticipatory bail from court . Can I get government job at this time???

well this depends. yes you shall be required to declare the nature of offense and police verification will be done. talk to your local ps and settle the matter to give a positive report. generally you have not committed an offence if the girl is amajor

No. You can not be able to join any government job as when police will verify then they find that a criminal case has already been subjudice in concerned Court and on that police verification report submitted by your local police station the concerned recruiter will surely cancel your appointment. so until and unless you get clean chit or declared acquitted from the said Court you can not able to be appointed for any government job.

it would depend on the kind of govt job you are seeking. ordinarily since the case is pending and you are still not convicted there is a good chance that you will be considered for the job. however some department like police and judiciary might not allow given the offence of kidnapping a minor.
