Dear questioner, what is the need to file a separate case to prove your point? In a case both the parties get the chance to prove their side via evidence.
So in the matter of d v act you can cross examine their false plea of 22 lacs.
You may file a divorce petition too on the basis of desertion.

yes, you can file the case against his in laws. because you have possessed the movie of his marriage, photographs of his marriage, from where it can be imagined that the arrangement of the marriage function was belongs to the extent of such huge amount. there is no problem, if your wife not ready to give divorce, if you have wants to dissolve your marriage, then you must file the petition under section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act before the court of competent jurisdiction on the basis of cruelty. because your wife has filed the bundle of case against you and your family members and the same is very good ground for divorce on the basis of cruelty.
