Can a police officer arrest someone without inquiry?

Kya koi police adhikari kisi vayakti ko khoon ya chori karne ke shak ke adhar par us admi se sakhti se saval javab kar sakta hai ya us vyakti par parcha kar ke jail men dal sakta hai .kya police kisi vyakti ko bina parcha kiye jail men dal sakta hai
Police have authority to investigate about the case but he can't get the person in police custudy without any reasonable excuses more than 24 hours... he have to report about the arrest of the person and produce the person arrested to local magistrate

Yes, police officer can arreste or investigate regarding offence to suspected person....if you found guilty then investigation officer can registered case against you ...and producer him before megistrate , who can send you Judicial custody (jail)....
