Can a criminal file blackmail case?

Supreme Court has granted stay on carrying out the illegal construction and the builder started carrying out illegal construction, but in reporting the same to the police the builder has filed counter case of blackmailing and molestation through someone. Can't informat be protected otherwise, anyone can army twist the complainant by filing fake FIRs. Are there any rulings in this regard? Thank you.

Hello Sir, Depending upon the facts and circumstances of your case and the kind of evidence you have in regards to harrasment done to you and your family. you can file a Complaint against that particular person/builder seeking protection orders from court.
