Being blackmailed to be in a relationship. Girl threatening to suicide

I'm 26 year old male working as a Software Engineer. 4 months back a woman (24 yo) had acquired my contact information from my resume publicly visible on google. She claims she had tracked me down for over a year and had wanted to be in a relationship with me. So after being friends for a couple of weeks I agreed to be in a relationship with her. But things didn't go so well and I broke up with her in a month (I had only met her once and I have no physical or intimate relationship with her). She has since been constantly blackmailing me with suicide. I'm being harassed everyday. Please advice.
If you have not had a physical relationship with her then face her boldly and cut off all relationships with her, don't mind if she threatens you or not.
Further as abundant precaution, inform this to her parents or well wishers about her suicidal tendencies, this should solve your problem.
